Just like the ocean, life can come in waves—sometimes calm and peaceful, other times turbulent and overwhelming. Tyler Evans is a mother, wife, sister, and daughter. She is also a passionate and empathetic Associate Clinical Counselor who believes that within all of us is the ability to find steady ground, no matter the tides.
Specializing in working with adolescents, young adults, families, Tyler offers both individual and group counseling academically and social emotionally. She supports clients dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, conflict resolution, and coping skills, while also helping individuals embrace and celebrate their diverse ethnic backgrounds. Passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, she focuses on cultivating a deep sense of self-love.
With a person-centered approach, she creates a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen and heard. Drawing from Adlerian theory, she focuses on fostering clients’ sense of belonging, self-worth, and empowerment, helping them build resilience and confidence as they navigate life’s challenges.
She has had meaningful experiences that have led her into the field of Clinical Counseling. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Northridge, and went on to receive her Master’s in Education and Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. Her strong educational background, combined with her compassionate approach, allows her to connect authentically with her clients and guide them toward resilience and growth.
