My promise to you is to offer a space where you can arrive exactly as you are. A space where nothing needs to be fixed right away, explained perfectly, or carried alone. I believe therapy begins with being deeply seen – especially in the parts of ourselves that feel confusing, heavy, or unfinished.
My approach is relational, experiential, and somatic, with roots in liberation psychology – attuned to the ways our stories, bodies, and identities are shaped within larger systems of power, culture, and survival.
I help people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. Many of my clients feel caught between identities, roles, cultures, or versions of themselves, and are seeking relief from survival mode and a return to meaning, connection, and self-trust. Our work together is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that healing unfolds through both understanding and felt safety.
Having lived across four continents, I bring a multicultural and transitional lens to therapy. I understand what it means to uproot, adapt, begin again, and carry multiple worlds within you. I currently provide therapy in English and Spanish, and I strive to create a space where language, culture, and lived experience are honored rather than minimized.
Before entering the therapy field, I worked as a journalist, listening closely to people’s stories beyond the headlines. That experience continues to shape my work today. I am drawn to helping clients explore the narratives they’ve inherited, survived, or internalized—and to gently rewrite those stories in ways that feel more truthful, empowering, and compassionate.
My background includes a Bachelor of Science from the University of Amsterdam, followed by an MBA in Strategic Leadership at Antioch University, Santa Barbara. Additionally I was trained and certified as a Leadership Coach at UC Berkeley. I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and training toward EMDR certification to support clients healing from trauma. I am committed to ongoing learning, reflective practice, and ethical care, and I view therapy as both a professional craft and a deeply human relationship in which we together strive to become more fully human.
