Jhamasa Lewis-Adams is an Associate Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in the field of social work. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, specializing in Social Innovation and Change. Prior to her graduate studies, Jhamasa completed a Bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship at Jackson State University.

With over 12 years of experience working with individuals and groups, Jhamasa has dedicated the past four years to practicing as a registered ASW. She embarked on her professional journey by assisting young adults and families in foster care and low-income communities in California. Subsequently, she worked with homeless youth and young women at YouthBuild Charter and Grace Hopper in South Central LA.

Jhamasa’s areas of expertise encompass various aspects of mental health and personal development. She is well-versed in addressing family of origin and relationship issues, stress management, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and supporting individuals in their personal growth. She particularly enjoys working with college students and young adults, providing them with the necessary support and guidance during this transitional phase of their lives.

Jhamasa’s diverse background and extensive experience enable her to approach her work with empathy, understanding, and a holistic perspective. Through her clinical practice, she strives to empower individuals and promote positive change in their lives.
