Chelsea Davis is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who provides mental health therapy services via telehealth and in person in Los Angeles. She works teens and women through individual and group therapy sessions to overcome depression, anxiety and/or low self-esteem. Chelsea is an honest and warm therapist who brings a calm and compassionate energy to each therapy session she holds, as she is intentional about creating a safe and welcoming space. Chelsea has been practicing this work over the past 6 years and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Chelsea is passionate about helping Teens and Women of color to pull from their strengths and walk into the version of themselves that they envision.
Chelsea discovered her love for helping others as a mental health professional by holding space for her college peers (residents in the dorm), where she was a Residential assistant. The feeling of being able to connect with others through the art of storytelling and encourage individuals to pull from their strengths truly inspired her career choice. Chelsea obtained her Bachelors of Psychology degree from Clark Atlanta University and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California. She has worked with children of all ages as well as adults. Chelsea will meet you where you are and work with you to improve your self-confidence, regulate your thoughts and emotions and process any trauma that may be underlying.
Tennya is an Afro-Latina Associate Marriage & Family Therapist who believes in the power of storytelling, as well as expression and healing through movement/sound. Her lived experiences led her to unbecome who she wasn’t in order to find alignment with her true self and purpose. She attended Cal State Northridge where she received her Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy in 2019 and has a wide range of experience working in Infant Mental Health, Community Mental Health (Non-profits, Schools, Intercollegiate College Sports, etc) where she’s worked with children, adolescents, and their families. Along with this, she brings her knowledge in doula work and her experience as a yoga teacher to support mothers and their families during pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum. Tennya believes that the Mental Health profession chose her and is forever grateful to be of service to others. She enjoys serving as a guide to help others through difficult transitions such as grief/loss, break-ups, divorces, career changes, soul searching, etc. and finds joy in helping you embark on a path that feels authentic to you while challenging you to become the best version of yourself that you can be. Tennya believes that talk therapy combined with expression/somatic movement/sound (journaling, art, poetry, yoga, dance, breathwork, sound healing, singing) helps us better address the traumas that lie dormant within our bodies. It is through this work that Tennya will help you become more empowered, confident, and self-aware. While embarking on this process of healing, Tennya will meet you where you’re at and help ease any anxieties, depression, low self-esteem, anger/frustrations, and help you to befriend your body so that you can, with time, step into your power and own your truth wholeheartedly.
Keturah shows enthusiasm for helping women and young adults succeed in personal development, interpersonal relationships, and academic/career goals. She began coaching gymnastics at 15 and realized the key to overall success is mindset mastery. This experience led her to pursue her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Spelman College and her Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University. She is now obtaining her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. Keturah has worked to create and implement curriculum for academic and career advancement while providing counseling and guidance for any emotional barriers that life may present. Women and young adults that she has worked with feel confident enough to truly live in the abundance that is available when a person’s truest self is accepted and loved. Keturah would love to work with you if you are experiencing transition or transformation in areas such as career goals, motherhood (in all it’s beautiful forms), postpartum challenges, self-love and acceptance, and spirituality.
Tamika Lewis is a writer, speaker, and mental health expert practicing in Los Angeles, CA. She provides individual and group counseling with an emphasis on helping women and teens overcome anxiety and depression. Tamika is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the Grief Recovery Method, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She integrates laughter and storytelling into every session, leaving clients feeling lighter and more hopeful.
Tamika graduated from CSULB with a Masters degree in School Counseling and completed her Masters in Social Work at UCLA. She was a National Association of Social Worker Award recipient, and was presented with the UCLA MSW Excellence Award. Additionally, she received recognition for her research with the CHLA Keck Diabetes Prevention Initiative. The study explored barriers to physical and mental wellness in South and East Los Angeles.
Adriana Arizon, LCSW is a passionate social worker and mental health clinician in The San Fernando Valley, CA. Adriana completed her Masters in Social Work at UCLA. Adriana is mutually invested in your progress and is enthusiastic about working with you. She takes her responsibility as a therapist very seriously and has a personal understanding when working with Womxn of color who are facing anxiety and depression as she herself has undergone that journey. In session, Adriana will hold a safe space as she challenges you with love and guides you towards meeting your goals.
Jamie’s passion for helping others has been the driving force in both her personal and professional life which led to her pursing a Master’s in Social Work at USC. Jamie believes people have the capacity to live lives that are full of love, hope and successes. She works collaboratively with clients and relies heavily on a combination of shared experiences, connection and research-based interventions. Jamie helps clients increase their self-esteem and self-worth while learning healthy boundaries, emotion regulation and coping mechanisms. After working with her, clients can expect to feel more secure, worthwhile and confident about their abilities. Additionally, clients will have the ability to create and maintain healthy boundaries, have an increase in concentration and the ability to self-regulate emotions, and develop conflict resolution skills.
Pavan has always had a passion for helping others in their time of need. This passion led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA as well as a Master’s degree in couple and family therapy. Pavan has previously worked with teenagers, young adults, women and people of color who struggle with depression, self-confidence, anxiety, and societal and systemic pressures. Pavan loves guiding her clients and seeing them achieve their goals, tackle life challenges, and become confident in themselves overall. She continues to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds in a direct and positive style to help them become the best version of themselves.
Alexis is a professional clinical counselor-trainee who is currently working towards her masters of science in counseling. She is a San Diego native, who understands the importance of representation of womxn of color in the mental health field. Her professional background is in educational counseling at the higher education level and she has worked with diverse young adults on the path to achieving their academic goals. While working with students, Alexis realized her true passion for supporting individuals with clinical concerns such as anxiety and depression. Now a graduate student continuing her education in professional clinical counseling, she is devoted to supporting individuals with a myriad of life challenges so that they can feel empowered to cope and achieve wellbeing. In sessions, Alexis creates a non-judgmental space where individuals are safe to tell their story, receive genuine validation for their lived experiences, confront self-limiting beliefs, build skills, process emotions, and reach their fullest potential.
